Prospera Technologies FZ-LLC ("Prospera", "we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit our website or engage with our services. We are a free zone limited liability company registered in the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), United Arab Emirates.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have in relation to your personal data. It applies to the website located at prospera-technologies.com and to any personal data we collect in the course of providing our services.

This policy is published in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("PDPL") and other applicable data protection laws.

3.1 Information you provide directly

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number, company name, job title, when you fill out forms on our website, email us, or book a call.
  • Project information: details about your software project, business, workflows, and requirements that you share during discovery calls or in written communication.
  • Communications: records of our correspondence, including emails, WhatsApp messages, and call notes.

3.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: information about how you use our website, collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4), including pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, clicks, and referring source.
  • Device data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and approximate location (country/city level).
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 7 below.

3.3 Information from third parties

  • Calendly: when you book a call through our Calendly link, we receive your name, email, and any responses to the booking form questions.
  • LinkedIn: publicly available profile information if you connect with us or engage with our content.
  • Referrals: contact details shared by a mutual connection who refers you to us.

    • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website analytics
    • Calendly (Calendly LLC) — call scheduling
    • Email providers — for sending and receiving correspondence
    • Hosting providers — for storing website data
    • Cloud infrastructure providers — for storing and processing project data
  • Professional advisers: lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where required.
  • Authorities: regulatory bodies, courts, or government authorities where required by law.
  • Business successors: any party that acquires all or a substantial part of our business.

All service providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect personal data and use it only for the purposes for which it was shared.

Some of our service providers (including Google Analytics and Calendly) are based outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we take steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

  • Use of contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required;
  • Ensuring service providers comply with internationally recognised data protection standards.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and measure performance. The main categories of cookies we use are:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: required for the website to function properly.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 cookies that help us understand how visitors interact with the site. These are set only after initial page load and may be disabled via your browser settings.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect website functionality. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party marketing trackers, or cross-site tracking.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

  • Enquiries that do not lead to engagement: up to twelve (12) months from last contact.
  • Client records and project documentation: for the duration of the engagement and seven (7) years thereafter, in line with UAE accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.
  • Website analytics: fourteen (14) months (our GA4 retention setting).
  • Communications: as long as reasonably required for ongoing business purposes or legal obligations.

Data that is no longer required is securely deleted or anonymised.

9. Your Rights under UAE PDPL

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access: to request confirmation of whether we process your personal data and to obtain a copy.
  • Right to rectification: to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure: to request deletion of personal data where there is no legitimate ground for us to continue processing it.
  • Right to restrict processing: to request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to object: to object to processing based on our legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
  • Right to data portability: to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used format and to transmit it to another controller.
  • Right to withdraw consent: to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: with the UAE Data Office.

10. Data Security

We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risks involved in processing personal data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest where applicable;

  • Use of reputable cloud service providers with enterprise-grade security;
  • Regular review of security practices and third-party service providers;
  • Confidentiality obligations on all personnel and sub-contractors.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for business use and are not directed at children under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected personal data from a child, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, such as Calendly, LinkedIn, Google Maps, or WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal data.
